教學科研
王彪教授1988年獲哈工大固體力學專業博士學位。
同年進入清華大學工程力學系博士後流動站工作，1990年12月出站。
1991年1月被哈工大複合材料研究室聘為副教授及副主任。
1992年12月被哈工大破格晉升為教授。
1992年2月至1994年7月曾留學法國，在法國石油研究院及法國Grenoble理工大學進行研究.
1995年12月王彪教授被破格晉升為博士生導師。
2000年，王彪教授被國家教育部長江學者獎勵計畫聘為長江學者。
2004年調入中山大學理工學院工作。

1.根據SCI,，王彪教授獨自完成的論文《壓電材料中含一橢球夾雜的三維解析解》自1992年發表在美國《固體與結構國際雜誌》上後，已被SCI收錄的國際雜誌中的論文引用了150餘次。
該文章也是1981年-1998年期間，各學科中國學者在中國完成的相對引用率最高的47篇文章之一。
2000年，這一成果也使他榮獲了美國科技信息所（ISI）首次頒發的“經典引文獎”。
2.他另一篇獨自完成的論文《含有片狀裂紋的壓電材料中力場及電場分布的解析解》
自1992年發表在美國的《工程科學國際雜誌》上之後，已被SCI收錄的國際雜誌中的論文引用了近100次。
